Mom and Dad,
This has been a great week. there has been a lot of work going on in west linn but first let me tell you about the people that we are teaching...
Larry and Rachel are getting married on the 14th and then baptized on the 21st. they are doing good and are going in the gospel and as a family. its amazing how much i have grown to love this family in such a short time.
The Lucero Family is also doing well. We taught them the plan of salvation last night and it was amazing. i love to see families returning back to activity and growing in the gospel. We are hoping that Rashel can be baptized by her father some time in march. They are an awesome family.
John the young man that we tracted into did not come to church but we had a great lesson with him this past week. He said that he needs to stop saying that he needs to change and just make the changes. so that was sweet and i can really see him making thoughs changes and being baptized.
Chiaki is a new investigator that we are teaching and she is from japan. She is an exchange student living with a member that served in Japan. Chiaki does not know anything about god or christ so it is really making us grow in teaching simply. I never thought being called on an english speaking mission that i would get to teach so many people from all over the world.
My and my companions are doing great. i Really love being in trios they are sweet. I also love being in west Linn and am PRAYING that i do not get transfered but i will go where the lord wants me to go. but i do love this area and both of the wards are great. the first time that i was here i had a hard time tracting i "richer" area of west linn but now it does not matter... everyone needs the gospel. msomething really cool happend this week too... for the first time on my mission me and my companions reached the standards of the mission. We did not realize it until we called in numbers but it was sweet!!!
1/22 7:17 pm.; A women reported that an unknown person banged on her door. Turns out it was missionaries. This is what was stated in this past week news paper about us three missionaries being obedient and out tracting. we heard from a member that we made the Paper.
I'm doing great the past few weeks have been good. I have been studying a lot more in the bible then i have in the past and i really love the new testament. I have really learned this past week why it is so important to have two testaments of Jesus Christ.
i love you guys with all my heart... stay strong. and trust in the lord. love
sister goetz
