Mom and Dad
This week has been really good let me tell you about our investigators....
Larry and Rachel are doing well. they will get married this weekend and be baptized next Sunday. They are really growing so very much. I'm very grateful to see the ward helping them out so very much and really making them feel like they belong... its awesome to see real and true fellowship at its best!
The Lucero Family is doing well. We set a date for Rashel on the 13th of March. our last lesson was so very awesome. we taught about scripture study and we acted out the story of Samuel the Laminite . it was fun... the best part about the lesson was that they had question about the temple and making there family a eternal family and that was so very awesome. Man i really love them.
this past week we have had a really hard time having appointments being canceled but we still keep working hard and we have made sure that we have had good back up plans so that helped out so very much.
sister martin, cooper and I are doing great. I really enjoy serving with them and once again i really love being in a trio but you want to know what i love even more... BEING IN WEST LINN but over all we are doing great!
I'm doing FANTASTIC! This past week has been great. i wish that i has so exciting story to tell about our adventures but there really hasn't been any. we have just been working hard and laughing a lot...maybe too much. i really loved zone conference this past week it was awesome. I found this really cool scripture in Alma 1: 25 " Now this was a great trial to those that did stand fast in the faith; nevertheless, they were steadfast and immovable in keeping the commandments of God, and they bore with patience the persecution which was heaped upon them" It was just really cool to liken this scripture to myself and think about the kind of missionary that i want to become... man i've got a lot of work a head of me. lol.
one of the 12 apostles said that "god will not help you with things that you can do on your own" and that is so true...do all that you can and then the lord will step in. its crazy but it works out that way. if there is one thing that i learned from being on a mission is that you cant give up you have to push forward and then it will work out!
