Mom and Dad,
I really hope that you get this e-mail this week. This has been a very good week. I extended a baptismal commitment to a couple we have been teaching and they have accepted. Its amazing to see them grow in the gospel. I'm learning so very much but know that i still have a lot to learn. I wish that you guys could be here to see how amazing that gospel really is and how the lord really prepares his children.
I can not believe that it is already august time is going by so very fast. Last p-day we went bowling and it was so much fun (photo). we are going to go shopping at the mall today so that should be alot of fun
so last Friday a member took sister Anderson and i out to eat at a barbecue pit. The food was really good. but not the main point of my story. I took out my camera to take a pic and dropped my case on the floor. when i picked to up it was wet... covered in beer. the worst part was that Sister Anderson put her bag on the floor and it was covered in beer. needless to say we smelt like beer for the rest of the night. but it was kind of funny.
Last night we were teaching a lesson at a members house and the dad told us "i just had a impression of the spirit and it told me that we all made a choice in our pre-earth life to meet together at this very moment. Thank you for the choices that you have made to get to this point." The spirit was so very strong and it was a sweet moment. then on top of that before our lesson sister Anderson and I were playing football in their front yard while we were waiting for them to finish dinner and they had a garden figure missing his head. well we found the head and it was the coolest little shrunken head i have ever seen... and they gave it to be.. I named it hewbert and he is on my desk at the apartment.
The work is going good and we have taught a lot of lessons this week.

Funny story " sister anderson Love willow (the movie) and we all always quoiting the two little guys... last night she didn't get down to pray so i asked her if she had prayed and she said "i prayed while you were taking a pee pee" in the movie willow they say "we stoled the baby while you were taking a pee pee." so as you can see we are having fun.
a few days a go i went on an exchange.(Photo: Sister Martin and me) Meaning that i was with a different companion for 24 hours and on that exchange i committed someone to be baptized. it was so sweet and it was the first time that i had done that. I was so scared but at the same time it is so amazing to see people coming to Christ. the lady asked if she could be baptized sooner then the date i had extended and i went to turn to ask Sister Martin if that was ok. so my head is turning and then it hit me... she said she wanted to be baptized sooner so i turned back to her and said yes. I felt stupid at first but it was one sweet moment.
Last night we watched the testaments. its a church movie and its amazing. after i though a lot about why i want to be our here and I realized it because of our Saviors love. I feel so blessed to be doing to lords work. By no means is it easy but I am so amazed at Jesus love for me.
