Hello mom and Dad
This past week has been really good. I am working hard and just trying to stay alive. Missionary work is a lot different then i thought it would be but at the same time i find a lot of joy in it. I really love studying the scriptures and have really loved reading Jesus the Christ. The more i study the more i know that the gospel is true. Last week President Dyches (our mission president) talked in the ward i am serving in it was amazing. he talked about the importance of having a gospel centered home and how we need to share the gospel with everyone that we know. I wish that i would have been better at sharing the gospel before i came out but i have learned a great lesson. I'm learning so much. When i was in the MTC one of my teachers said that you get less then what you put into your service as a missionary. Its something that i have been thinking a lot about. I need to put more in because the blessing are so amazing not i could not image what they would be if i gave it my all.
I really have been having a hard time focusing but i'm working on it. President told me that it would take five months before i really get the hang of what mission life is like. two down three to go... time is going by so very fast i can not believe that we will be half way through this transfer next week. CRAZY> but life is good. and the gospel is true.
Oh Man! ... we had the cops show up at one of our lessons it was so crazy... i still really don't know all that happened but no one was arrested...but it came close.. CRAZY.. only in on my mission would the cops show up. OH MAN!
