mom and dad,
How is it going? so there has been a lot that has happend over the last week and i still feel like a chicken with my head cut off... but in a good way. So this past week Venessa Stagges got baptized. It was really sweet. She in a young girl who in in our zone leaders ward but we got to teach her. There is no greater joy then seeing others come unto christ. She is off to alaska and we are going to write her each week to help her and her testiomony to keep growing. Her Grandparents are in alaska and are real active members so i know that she will be in good hand. Its amazing to know that when a person knows that the gospel is true that it just burns inside of them.
the other people that we are teaching are kind of flaking out on us right now. We have some future investogators that we are cheeking up on this week. im really excited.
I really love the wards that we are in. There is such a strong spirit in both of the wards. I'm so grateful that i have the chance to serve here and just can not waite untill we have so many people to teach that we have to alwasy be on exchanges. Ahhh Missionanray dreams.
Sister Low and I are doing good. She is such a great missionary and i have already learned so very much from her. i'm grateful for her becasue we balance eachother a lot i think. We have some really great ideas to help the sister grow and become stronger missionaries. I really love the sisters in this mission and i'm greatful that i have this chance to serve them at this time. I have learned so very much in just this short time and i love seeing all the different ways that they work. they are amazing.
we had two exchanges this week. I really love the sisters in this mission!
I am doing great. I have been studing in the new testiments a lot and more and more i really have grown a great love for paul. in 1st Corinthians 3:1-2 it talks about the milk before meat and i know that the natural "man" in me is a total meat before milk in a lot of things but in the gospel i some time feel that i am so behind all the other missionaries. but i love the way that paul puts it about how we were not able to bear the meat so he gives us milk. As i got to thinking i was thought... I'm really ok with this. I know that Heavenly Father gives us all gift and different gifts at the same time.... just think how crazy this woulf would be if it was full of Sister Goetz' ... not got to lie it would be fun but not very balance.. at the end of veres two paul write "neither yet now are you able" so i guess that i'll just stick with milk for now. but i know that my testimony is growing more and more each day.... milk is good.
so i have been studing Consecration and have a really funny story... so the other day we were out doing service. we helped this lady that we have been teaching clean her daughters room. and let me just say i have never seen so many toys in my life. so we had a lot of bag to take to goodwill and the lady does not have a car so we told her that we could take it for her. so sister low and i asked her sons and his friend is they would help us take out the grabage and the bags for goodwill.... but we did not have enough hands to carry everything at once so i started to hange bags from my fingers so that we would not have to take two loads. so after we put everything in the car i felt something funny. the tip of my left pointer finger was numb. strange i thought at first. so i confided in my companion who laught at me for being so freacked out about my finger. so as we got to talking i stated "hey i have consecrated my finger to the work". i thought that sister low was going to pass out her laughted so far.... as you can see we are having a good time. And just in case if you are wondering No i still have not gotten full feeling back in my finger but i think its coming back slowly...
i love you guys. love sister goetz.... ps happy b-day mom...
