Mom and dad,
How are things going? Their has been a lot going on here in Beaver ton. This transfer is going by so very fast. I can not believe it. Right now we are really not teaching any one. We have Met a Lot of really great people. Let me tell you I really love the Centered-sharing Statements. I think that they are so very amazing and i think that they it is really helping us to find those that are ready for the gospel today!
Let me tell you about some of the people that we met this past week. First there is the couple (tom and Juile) they are really sweet people.Tom's dad was one of those Southern Baptist Revival Preachers... They whole time that he was telling me about his life growing up hoping from one state to another sharing the good word....i also kept thinking about the Neil Dimond song.. the whole time i was just waiting for Neil to pop out with a tambourine and a bible... But over all it was a really cool lesson. Tom had A intestinal something-or-the-other and almost died about a year a ago. Juile is a really sweet lady and she just opened up to us. When she was 19 she had a blood clot in her brain and it caused a stoke. She is a very strong lady and its amazing to see how some people can really feel the spirit.
The other guys that we met his name is Frank. He too has some really bad health problems all of his life. You can tell that he is a good person but I don't think that he has ever known what it means to be loved and that is a hard thing to imagine. He has cyst all over his body and they are now starting to grow in his origins and about a month ago he tired to take his own life. I am really glade that we have had a chance to talk with time and to share how through Jesus Christ all things are possible.
We also had a few exchanges this week. . Let me tell you a funny story... so after dinner we went tracting around the members house. We tracted and then need to use the restroom. so we headed back to the members home, When we got there they said that they were about to go for a walk around the block and but just go in and use the restroom. So we did... but sister XXXXX took an extra long time.... Then she comes out and says "so i clogged the toilet and i cant find a plunger". I don't think that my eyes have ever gotten so big.. so we start looking and the whole time in my head im thinking (great we leave the missionaries in our house for two minutes and the destroy the bathroom) so the clock was ticking and the race to find a plunger was on.. to the left and to the right we could not find one. so we went up staires and still couldn't find one.. to the garages i thought but ...nope not there. where could it be.... needless to say we never found the plunger but the toilet started to go down by its self. So Now sister XXXXXX and I are going to invent the Plunger 2000 which is so compactable that it can fit in your bag
Sister Low and i are doing great. I think that out unity has been better this week and its awesome to be able to grow with her.
I'm doing great too. This week has really kicked my back-end but in a good way. i have learned a lot about enduring to the end and why it is such an important Principle in the gospel.
love sister Goetz
