mom and dad
this week has been good but at the same time it has been long. I am very grateful to see the sun once again. (i really thought that is was gone forever). So there is a lot of stuff going on in West Linn where to began????.....
Mildred is being baptized this up coming weekend and it is going to be a great day. I can not wait to see her enter the waters of baptism. She know the gospel and i know that this will be one of the best things that she will do in her life. it is only up from her. I'm so very grateful that i get to teach her and her family. they have some many blessing that the lord is going to give them for their obedience.

This week we are starting to teach a family It really funny but i feel a strong connection to this family. I know that the lord puts us where we need to be.
In the West Linn ward they are doing a 40 day fast and the ward is being blessed we are seeing some amazing work with both investigators and less actives. There is a quote from one of the apostles "the lord is not going to open a door that you are not ready to enter" The Lord is opening the doors in this area. and i am grateful to witness it.
Sister Hatch and i are doing good... today is her birthday so we went to the mall and she got her nails done and a member took us out to eat. It was fun. I put poppers on the toilet the other day and that was way funny. I have never heard her scream before. Ah the joy of practical jokes. but over all we are doing good.

I'm doing very good. I always love having interviews because it gives me a lot to think about. I have been thinking a lot about obedience with out a doubt i'm a 100% here and i love my mission so very much but i want to be "boiling" not just steaming. today marks 6 months before the Assistants have to try to drag me to the airport kicking and screaming the whole way! and I'm not going to waste a minuet! On Sunday one of the speakers talk about obedience and how when he questioned things that his father his dad always said "because i said so". then he said that, that is want Heavenly Father is trying to tell us. (that is when the spirit smacked me upside the head) I guess it is just the rebel in me to want to go agents the grain but my Heavenly Father knows better then me so I want to be even more obedient. I have a long way to go.

I was thinking about how much i have grown on my mission and its really crazy. I got a letter this week from Judge and he told me about these stones that they have down there and how he believe they are like the stone that the brother of Jared pick out. he said how we are like the stones and the God takes us, purifies us and gives us light. And i think that. that is a good way for me to sum up my growth on my mission so far. Ahh ok that is enough about me....funny story time.....

ok so at interviews one of the elders hide elder demills planned in my back pack... and i found it Sunday morning.... He said that he would get it back at district meeting.... that is when my bright idea came in. Poor elder Demills planner wasn't decorated and since sister hatch and i love to decorate planners we thought that we would "Help a brother out".... (evil French man laugh) i hope that he likes pink because his planner is as cute as a button.. i still laugh out loud about it every now and then.

Now about that little rascal.... so there is a less active lady in the ward to owns the great great great great grand dog of pety from the TV show little rascal and he bite me.... so i can now say that i have been bit by a celebrity...
tell day happy fathers day ..i love you all. love sister goetz
