Dearest Mommy and Popsicle.....

So this week has been a really good one. Let me first tell you that we did 15 hours of tracting and it went really well. We have a few really great potentials including a great family that we are going to see this week. We Really have not had much contact with Elizabeth and Mildred but are planing on having a lesson with them tonight. I know that one day they will be baptized but it hard waiting on the Lords Time. I really have a good feeling about this area i know that there are lots of people that are ready and it is a amazing because we keep finding new streets that we have not tracted at all. I'm amazed because i believe that i have tracted all of west linn and then some.. but i really love it here. The wards are amazing and i just love getting to see some of the people that i have taught grow. Oh man do i love being a missionary.

Sister Hatch and Cooper are doing well. I have learned a lot this week about what i can do to help them and i have come to the conclusion that all i can do is lead by example. Yeah you would think that i would know this be now but it was a smack up side the head. So we are going better as a trio and i learning a lot about patients right now. but i guess that it will be good for me. i was think about ways that i can be a better example to my companions and this might sound a little selfish but so far it is work. SO before i would try to help them out by saying something like "hey you see that lady across the street someone should go talk to her"...and that back fired on me.... i explained that i can go and talk to everyone but that is not going to help to companionship grow. I also told them that both have them have told me how they want to get better at talking with people so i was trying to help......but if they wanted i could just talk to everyone because i love talking to people about the gospel. I was amazed at the results.... so i started to just start talking to people and now and then one of them will jump in before me and start the conversation. I am grateful to be serving with them both they are good missionaries and i do learn a lot from them. We are growing in the gospel and personally too.

I'm doing great. This week has been really good. This transfer is not as much fun as the last few but i'm grateful for all the lessons that i have had so far on my mission because they have helped me be stronger. I loved going to the Temple on Friday. The coolest thing was that a year ago on Friday was when i received my own endowments, it was just really sweet. I really love the temple. I just love how much peace that i can feel and the love the Heavenly Father has for his children. Oh by the way something really cool happened. I was reading the challenging and testifying missionary. and i received and answer to a completely different topic and concern. I was just so very amazed becasue i was not look for this answer but it came to me as i was diligently studying. i was awesome

So there has been some funny things going on: So the other day we were practicing teaching the plan of salvation and it was going great... sister cooper started to teach and went to share a scripture. as she started she was golden...you could feel the spirit.... then she said "i know that Heavenly Father has a body of flesh and BUTT....i mean bones" I can not remember the last time i laugh so hard in companion study. it was great.

So the Jensens came out to cheek our apartment, we had stopped by to use the restroom and we got to talking to them and they told use that they were going to our zone leaders apartment next. That is when my tricky little mind started to function faster.. I asked with enthusiasm "hey would you like to help me play a little trick on the zone leaders". elder Jensen was all game. So i gave them a handful of poppers to strategically on the toilet. Ahh the joy of practical jokes. So a few days later at district meeting i stated to the zone leaders "So how is your toilet working?" Elder Demill stated with surprise "THAT WAS YOU....HOW DID YOU GET IN TO OUR APARTMENT?" so i told them how we got the poppers there and he told us that he they were on a exchange and thought that this other elder had done it. Good times.
