Dearest Mommy and Popsicle
This week has been a long but good one. I am very excited about being in a trio again. Oh man are we going to have fun....but not to much. Well our teaching pull is a little on the low side but it picking up slowly. I really love being in west linn it is such a great place to be serving.
We had a lesson with Jerry this past week. He accepted a soft baptismal commitment. I really feel that one day we will accept it. He is a good man. Sharron (who i taught the first time in West Linn) came to the lesson. It was so very amazing to see how much she has grown. Her knowledge and testimony of the gospel just blew me away.
We are still teach Elizabeth and Mildred... its going slow and but i know that when the time is right they will be ready to be baptized. they are such a sweet Family.
So this past week has been good. Sister Hatch has grown so very much and is a great example to me. We are going to be a powerhouse trio. I promise you. West Linn Will not know what hit them. SWEET GIBLETS!!!!
Speaking of Giblets... what do you think is the chances of almost hitting two wild turkeys in on transfer? Well let me tell you it is very possible. So one Sunny afternoon we were driving down a county road. We had just finished tracting in the country area and had not found many people home. we then realized that we need to take a little pit stop. So we jumped in the car and off we went to a close by member that told us that we could always stop by. As we drove the recommended speed limit we wisked through the county roads with the windows down and good old MoTab in the CD Player. That is when it took place and we turned a corner there was a little old man who quickly lifted his hand to stop us. We tried to slow down but it was too late. turkey body parts every where.... Just kidding i stoped in time but we could not believe that it almost happened twice.. the turkey lived and we had ham for Easter
Conference was so very good. and i know that i have a lot to work on but Rome wasn't built in one day and . But i have grown a lot over the last transfer, and am ever so grateful for my mission. Can i just stay on my mission forever...Please.. think about it and let me know. Just kidding But i am grateful for this experience that i having here and will try not to run over anything else.
Love Sister Goetz
Ok one more funny story so when we are backing up in the car one missionary had to be on the out side so that we do not hit anything or any one. So the other day my companion was backing me up and she keep signaling me to come so i follower her had.... the next thing i hear it a bang it had hit my companion. (she is ok) Se was not watching and was kept backing me up.. I almost peed my skirt it was so funny i can believe that i hit her with the car...
