MOM AND DAD
This has been a very good week. Lots of good time but let me tell you about the People that we are teaching.
Rashel Lucero is going to be baptized on the 13th she is doing very well. Last night was the second time that we had the whole family there for a lesson. it was sweet they are going so very much. they want to be good strong members of the church and i can not wait to see this family go to the temple.
The Thomsens are doing great. . its amazing to see their faith. they are having family home evening each week and just to amazing
we are doing a lot of searching and it makes for long but good days.
So there has been a lot of eventful things going on.... So here is so funny things that happened this week.
first i almost died tracting. so we are out inviting other to come unto Christ and then it happened. We were walking up a large hill and we try to sing hymns and Beatles songs to lift our spirits (just kidding about the Beatles Songs) and this bug flew in my mouth and down my throat. I started to choke and i thought that this was the end but then the bug went down. Ahh nothing like a little extra protein during tracting.
So for the last two transfer there has been something odd going on with the rain drops.... they are out to get me. so every time that we are out tracting in the rain the little beady drops land in my right eye. yeah it has happened like 12 times in the past two transfer. i even have nerd protectors on (a.k.a my glasses) its always in the right eye... and i'm not going to lie its kind of funny and sister cooper thinks its really funny.
OK the craziest thing happened the other day. so we were at our apartment eating lunch at our desks and the phone ring. Sister Cooper looked at me and i looked back and i say "dont get up I'll get it" As i jumped up to get the phone i pushed my chair back so that i would have enough room to get out of my desk. I turned to the right and took a step. that is when my life flashed before me. I made the assumption that i had pushed my bottom drawer in on my desk but i didn't. As i tripped over the large drawer i tried to stop my self from falling to the ground but my efforts were a wast. I griped on to my desk and landed in my chair or should i say that my right shoulder landed in my chair. My feet then flew above my head. while out of the corner of my eye i could see my desk getting ready to fall on top of me. I know at this that my life for sure was over. I could see my obituary "missionary dies by stupidity and desk". For a second everything stopped and like they say- what goes up much come down. My poor beat up body landed next to me desk. Sister Cooper asked "Are you ok?" My response was "GET THE PHONE MAN DOWN" Needles to say I am still around to tell the story.
I'm doing good. this week has been harder but i'm learning a lot. I exercised all but one day this past week but i'll get it 100% next week. i have been really trying to learn all the OPM scriptures this transfer and let me just tell you i have some pretty sweet songs to help me out. this is going to be the best transfer ever.
oh did you hear that they split the New Mexico mission into two. that is so sweet
