Mom and Dad,

Greetings from the great land of west linn... things are going good here and its been one awesome week

Rashel Lucero got baptized on Saturday it was really amazing . Her dad Baptized her and it was so awesome. It is amazing what there gospel can do for some one in there life.
I can not wait to see this family go through the temple. they are growing so very much and are going to be a great example to everyone around them.
We are still on the look for new investigators... we are teaching a couple of girls that have been taught by misisonaries off and on for the past years and are also working with some focus five families. the work is on the slow side but it is going. OH so i have to tell you about our up coming fireside. It is going to be way SWEET! We are going to have a musical fireside about the restoration. Both of our wards and the Lake ridge ward are going to participate and we are going to give out invitations for people to invite there friends. it was sweet. I know that this is really going to help the work progress.

Sister Cooper and i are doing well. I think that we have good unity and work well with each other.

I am doing great. I have really work hard this week to be more focused on the work. I really do love this gospel with all my heart. This past week has been good too i have learned a lot of important things. right now i am reading in the war chapter in the book of Mormon and it has really helped me to understand peace and why it is so important. i know that there are lots of great things up coming for me it this life and i have forever been changed by serving a mission.

Ok so about the turkey.... The other day we were driving to an appointment. and as we turned on to the street that are appointment lived on I had to hit the breaks. There was a wild turkey in the middle of the road just doing his thing. It was crazy. the turkey just looked at us and then went back to what he was doing. I was not driving fast or anything but we almost had a pre-thanksgiving dinner that night.

one more funny so the other day we were out tracting and just inviting other to come to Christ. Having a good o' time. and i was thinking about ways that we can freshen up our tracting and that is when the funnest idea came to my mind. I turned to sister cooper with a very straight face and said " i think that we need to try a question of the soul that we have not used before. " she agreed that it was a good idea. then i stated "ok at the next door your going to ask the people if the have had the baby baptized".... So sister cooper looked at me. I am not sure how to describe it. there was so much emotion first i thought that she was going to cry...then kill me...... then she was not sure if i was serious. and at last the deer in headlight look... At this point i bursted out in laughter.

Love sister goetz
