So this has been a really amazing week and i have loved every minute of it.
Jeanna got baptized on the 31st.. and it was sweet. he has such a great testimony and is going to do great things in his life. you can really tell that he loves the lord. Even though he is so young he has such a big heart and really show christ like love to everyone..
Peter and Kinisou are sweet. They are going to be baptized this weekend and i cant wait. Kinisou really feels the spirit so strongly. i really love these two so much. its amazing to see people long to follow christ. I'm so very grateful that i got to be apart of it.
Dina is crazy but in a good way. she is so sweet but defiantly beats to her own drum. She too will be baptized this up coming weekend and she is so excited about it. She has opened up so very much. and is really trusting in her savior and his love.
Marcus is awesome. So the first time that i met him he looked like fiddler on the roof. but he is slowly changing. and its sweet. yesterday her had a suite on for church. man i love seeing the gospel change peoples lives. He also loves the plan of salvation and told us that this is what he believes. I really have enjoyed this trio and not only has there been a lot of good time but we have also had so much work to do its been amazing.
I'm doing great. I have been reading from Jesus the Christ a lot and it is just so mind blowing. i'm really grateful to learn about Christ love and how important he is to our heavenly fathers plan! This has been a really great transfer and i feel like a new person in so many ways. This is how i thought my mission would be like. I know that the journey to get to this point wasn't an easy one but i'm grateful for all the lessons that i have learned. Each day I am still grateful to be out serving the Lord.
Oh by the way you might want to know that McD's has started to take down the McRib signs. I'm not sure if that means that the McRib is gone and there will need to be further investigation on the matter, but i thought that you might like to know. Sad Day if its gone.
OK so about the cat. When we first got in to Happy Valley we went to the bishops houses like normal. When we got to Bishop Katos house he wasn't feeling good so we talked with sister Kato for a few minuets. The next thing i knew there was a cat's butt on my head. Awkward yes but i just went with it. Next Sister Kato say " Be careful cause he like to eat hair". Ok i thought to my self. so then the cat turns around and started eating my hair. once again i just smile and went on with the conversation. that is when it happened. the cat turned crazy and then opened up his mouth and took a bite. thank goodness i have a tough head or i might not be around to tell the story. so here i am with a cat eating my scalp, my two companions laughing almost to the point of almost needing to go home a change cloths and sister kato slowly getting up to remove the fangs from my head. so for the next few day all i heard was "hey sister goetz do you remember the time that cat tried to eat you" but the transfer must go on and it did. than it happened! Another wonderful visit to the Kato home and Evil kitty waiting for his next meal (aka my head) so as we enjoy the conversation sister ward says that she would like to get a picture of the cat and my head. ... needless to say there are now two sets of cat teeth prints in my head.
