Dear mom and dad,
So i got transfered again!!! i am not serving in the happy valley area. I am still in a trio. i'm serving with sister anderson (my trainer) and sister Ward. I am way excited about it. We are going to kick butt in this area. Then on top of that i'm going to a baptism of a girl i was teaching in silverton tonight. There is not greater joy then this work. and then on top of that this saturday we are going back to west linn to see a girl that sister anderson and i had taught. the lord is really blessing us in this work.
I had a great thanksgiving. we we to the langford. they are a great family the food was good but nothing like home. We also went to the bryants home and she owned a restaurant so the food was very fancy and good. but still nothing like home.
i loved the pie that arrie made me it was so very good.
there is another box on it way full of mission junk.
the GPS is great and has really help. i left the card holder in canby which sucks but the new elders there said they would get it to me. thanks so much it will help a lot.
I learned so very much over the last transfer. i just wanted to let you know that i need to buy some warmer clothing. i'll let you know how much i spend but i'm going to try to spend as little as posable.
i just want to let you guys know home much i love you. thanks for all your love and support. the gospel it try and i'm so bless to be sharing with my bothers and sister.
so.. these are the people i'm teaching
r. During last transfer i came on an exchange here and sister Ward and i contacted a couple and that night we taught them the first lesson. The husband is a member but his wife wasn't. They are a really great couple and i was so excited to hear that she is getting baptized this month. Her name is Kinisuo and she is going to be an amazing member of the church.
Last night we had our first lesson together as a trio and it went very well. we taught John and Paul they are bothers and have a lot of interesting view on religion. I'm not sure how interested they are but Jon is planning on coming to church on sunday.
I really dont know much about the other investigators but tonight we are teaching a lady name Sue and sister Ward says that she wants to be baptized so we are planing on setting a date with her tonight.
So.. i wanted to tell you something cool about one of the people that i was teaching in Canby. on our last lesson with Debbie Marino, Debbie said something that really hit me hard. She said that for so long she had been looking for the truth and that she was so happy that she had final found it. but it gets better. later that night i was looking in the area and found that she had be found during tracting and it really made me think about the power of tracting.
love sister goetz
