Hola from the MTC

OK so this last week has been so very crazy.CRAZY is the best way to say what life is like at the MTC. We get up at 6:30am and get cleaned up, 7:00am is personal study time, we eat breakfast at 8:00am, and at 8:30am we either head to class or we have missionary directed time (MDT). Were we teach and answer investigators questions over the phone. At 12:00pm we eat lunch, 2:30pm we have gym followed by more classes until dinner which is at 5:00pm. Then we have more classes until 9:00 were we plan for the next day.At 9:30pm we have personal time and 10:30pm is bed time.
Everything goes by so fast here but at the same time it's amazing. The spirit is so very strong and i have learned so much. I love being in the referral center. We get to talk to real people and we get to know them and love them, and learn about there life.
The first week has been really good. My comps name is Sister Hatch she is really sweet and I have learned a lot from her. She is really strong in the gospel and that helps me out a lot. This week has been good but at the same time it has been hard. I have learned a lot about myself.The age difference thing is really hard on me i feel like the mom of the group...but in a good way. There are a lot of lessons that i have learned that the younger elders and sisters have not. There are 10 of us in our district all but 2 are going to Oregon and we all have grown close. Wearing a dress all the time is really hard on me and i just want to put on some jeans. LOL. I know that i was meant to go out with this group.Man this is crazy. There has been so many times that i wanted to get up and call my parents...call my friends and just let them know what is going on. My branch president is awesome and has really been there for me. This has been such a major change in my life and i know that in the end I'll be a better person for it. My teachers are really awesome and i have learned so very much from them and i could really see myself wanting to come back and teach at the MTC. Wow! OK so i have to go but know that I love everyone...and thanks to everyone who has written...letters are like gold around here it's my only connection to the out side world.
