I have been thinking about all the things that I am going to miss about my at home life... but then i think about all the amazing blessing that I am going to have because of my mission. Last night i went to a concert it was alot of fun.. the one thing that came to mide during the concert was that just becasue i go on a mission i will not lose the person that I am. The lord has called me to oregon because of how I am. I'm not just a willing body... Im a beloved child of God. We all have some amazing chance to do our part in missionary work. I love this gospel and i love my Father in heaven. I can not measure the love i have in my life because of this gospel. -D
If you serve a mission faithfully and well, you will be a better husband, you will be a better father, you will be a better student, a better worker in your chosen vocation. Love is of the essence of this missionary work. Selflessness is of its very nature. Self-discipline is its requirement. Prayer opens its reservoir of power.
